Clara Christina Streit is both a US and a German citizen and holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. She serves as an independent non-executive director of several European corporations.
She began her career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and retired as a senior partner in 2012, after more than 20 years of experience as an advisor to financial institutions.
She has been a director and member of the Nomination and Compensation Committee of Vontobel Holding AG since 2011. Since 2013, she has been a member of the Supervisory Board of the German property company Vonovia SE (former Deutsche Annington SE).
From May 2015 to April 2018, she was a member of the Board of Directors and the Internal Controls & Risks and Corporate Governance, HR & Nomination Committees at Unicredit S.p.A, Milan. Between 2017 and 2022, she was a member of NN Group’s Supervisory Board.
In 2019, she was appointed member of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG, currently serving on the Nomination Committee.
She has been a non-executive director of the Company since 9 April 2015, currently being the Chairwoman of the Audit Committee.
