BEING PART OF THE COMMUNITY

Most of our activities take place near the community – through proximity stores, distribution centres, central kitchens or production units. More than providing services and goods, we are part of these communities, in each country where we operate. That is why we take responsibility for making a positive impact on local communities and contribute to their long-term economic and social development.

Through partnerships with associations and charitable organisations, the Group extends its support to the most vulnerable populations and those facing socio-economic challenges. Our most significant contributions include food donations to help fight hunger and malnutrition, but we also make financial donations.

In 2024, around 81 million euros were channelled to direct support for over 2,100 entities, with all Group companies deeply engaged in supporting their surrounding communities.
